Cleaning up Jack's jaws is quite easy, boil the head in some water until all the tissue becomes soft. Gently remove the jaws from the rest of the head (the bottom jaw may come away as two pieces and the top jaw will probably stay in one piece). With an old toothbrush and some hot water gently remove any tissue on the jaws. When clean, soak in a mild bleach solution for 10 mins (makes them super white) then allow to air dry for a few days, the jaws can then be re-assembled on a flat surface and a dab of 5 minute epoxy glue used to keep them in the right shape, a light coating of epoxy rod finish or floor varnish will stop cockroaches from getting stuck into them. I have used this method on some jack's jaws in the 1970's and they are still in good order.

I did a cane-toad with Draino crystals.

In the morning just a few shreds of skin and the bones.
