How's the serenity!?
Visited one of my favourite sooty haunts thismorning and had a good session with more than 30 fish caught n released.
Took my mate along and introduced him to these agressive little buggers and he too now is bitten by the sooty bug.

This location sounds great. I have yet to experience the highly rated sooty!!

We caught up with friends just recently who have moved to Townsville and will definately have to get up that way one day to catch up and go fishing.

Hey Scott! It's good to hear from you.
Yeah this location is awesome. The fish aren't big by impoundment standards but there's no shortage of'em!
We arrived up there at sunrise but were still catching them well into the middle of the day. SP's were the only lures we used that trip- any type and colour between 50 and 75mm. Between the two of us we caught 33.
However this place is just a magic spot to be, and catching fish there is only a bonus.
