Daz,
I take it your rig is being built down south huh?
Under 4500rpm verado's are astonishingly efficient, once over that rpm they can get thirsty for a four stroke. hence... 30knot cruise = 35L/H 50knots WOT = 108L/H. :-X
Mate no fourstroke can match the grunt or feel of these things. You won't be dissapointed. Just wate till you fire her up at the ramp, and not feel nore hear anything more than a whisper/hum from astern.:o
You purchase it from quay marine?
What sort of warranty are they offering these days?
I'm a 'glass' man, but the rig is looking good!
P.S numbers are with a 19" mirage (peice of shit prop), rev 4's see better cruise numbers, the tempest is the quickest. Haven't had a chance to try the enertia yet. If you want PM me some more info on your rig and i will strive to help with prop selection.
Cheers, JC

Mate,
looks awesome I'm sure it will be the ducks guts.

From memory you were towing this North, did you pass through Towsville on Thursday morning around 10am by any chance?

I saw a Nissan Patrol towing a boat that looked like this on that day. The comment at the time was "ooohhhh that's a nice boat".

cheers, Evan

Cool, hope it is windy! good choice in purchasing a 6m craft, long enough to stradle that never ending 2 foot chop!>:(

One day I will race you to the Green Is wreck, although I want a 20 minute head start or it will be no fun:)

Good luck in the testing.

took the tub for its first run, 4 PPL and a belly full of fuel topped out at 52mph @5750rpm, have to change the prop, im running a 19p laser11, will be swaping it for a Enertia 19p or 20p to get the revs up to about 6300, also lifted the motor up 1 hole, these Verados are some pice of machinary, the boat was like a dream 15-20knts and 3f chop so very happy, still have to do a bit more wireing and a basic tidy up now than its complete

Daz that's too fast! where is the punishment:) going for a fish on the reef will be like poping down the corner store for some milk in the saab!!:)

Sounds great and glad the fisrt run was (I suspect) better than what you expected.

cheers fnq
