today i fell in love......with a saratoga.

usually when i hit corrobere it for barra but today i felt like it was time to target the ancient toga. well i suceeded first cast with a thumper. later my mate got one smaller (of course) but much fater. i dont think i need to catch another tarpon in my life as i have caught more than my fair share today. i was acctually hoping when i hooked up that they would fall of so the didnt destroy my plastic. but anyway i dont think it will be long befor i hit the togas again...

Sounds like a nice session. any pics? Toga have to be one of my favourite fish. Spectacular looking and a great sportfish on light gear.

corrobere is in nt about 1 hour and half from darwin

A prehistoric critter but still a beautiful fish, they play up too. Always love flicking the fly and locking horns with them. I don't go to far north only Borumba but a Toga here is a toga there. they deserve the wrap mate a true blue legend of a fish.
