Any ideas what $ my boat is worth?

Hi All,

I have been considering upgrading to something bigger and am after a guestimate as to a fair asking price for my SF20. Here are some details:

1996 Southwind SF20 Hull
2007 225hp Suzuki 4 Stroke (Under 50hrs)
Lenco trim tabs (new)
Furuno FCV-620 Fish Finder (new)
Lowrance Globalmap 3500c with Nauticpath Chart (new)
VHF Radio, full safety gear etc, etc, etc.

Any ideas guys?

Mate that's a tough one, that hull with a 96 mod motor should get 24-26k.
But the 96 motor would only be worth a couple of grand.
But with a brand new motor hell I couldn't guess, be nice to stick the new motor price straight on top, but then would some one pay around 48k for it.
I don't no, hopfully.

You might be better off dropping an older motor on the rig, and putting the Suzuki on the new boat.

try asking john crawfords marine tingalpa , they are consignment boats and i have found them pretty spot on and honest in the past.

i imagine it would be in the 40 - 50 range with that motor. but i agree you might be better off selling for 30 or so with a secondhand motor, and putting your brand new suzie on the new bigger boat. obviously depends on what you are thinking on upgrading too.
don't sell before the weekend though. 5 - 10 and great tides for trunk.

Yeah thanks guys was thinking around $45k. I thought of keeping the Suzuki, but am considering a diesel powered cat so I really need to sell the whole package.

Steve, am in no hurry to sell it and will definately be out there this weekend if the weather gods are kind.

I reckon between 37 - 40 mark,my brother in law just bought a similar set up for 37000,:D only it was powered with a merc.
