This May, our team of 3 ladies will be heading up to Dundee to take part in the Reel Women Fishing Comp.

If anyone has fished the Finnis River lately, we would like to hear from you as to which lures to use, eg colour, depth, etc, and any other information you may have in relation to the Finnis River.

Also if you may know of anyone who would be interested in being a guide for our team, we would like to hear from you. Entry fee will be paid by us, which includes meals, we will be providing our own tackle, however, we just require a skipper with a boat.

Cheers
Jodie (Skipper of Lively Ladies)

Jodie, The Finnis is one of the harder rivers to fish as it is still netted by the pros (or was when I left Darwin, Jan last year). for lures , bombers in gold, tiger lily and green, classic barras ect in bleeding bobby dazler (gold red stripes), guns and roses, bleeding mullet, elton john and black with red head (for dirty water). The 10 foot lures would be your main choice but having a few 15-20 foot lures wont go astray. This is a NT fishing site that you can have a look at for up to date info on what is happening up there, http://www.fishingterritory.com/forums/
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian
