G'day People, Just a quick note for all you landbased fisho's around Ballina ( and beyond). With the onset of the school break again there is a dramatic increase in car break ins and car vandalism with any car parked out of eyesight around beaches, headlands and walls. There were five cars smashed and vandalised on the North wall last weekend and similar on the South wall. It would appear that it is just senseless vandalism moreso than trying to get at peoples valuables in the car, although I did hear of a car getting hundreds of dollars damage for a couple of bucks in change in the cars console. Myself, I think I might give the fishing a miss until the holidays end and go back when it's over. Cheers, Steve.
