License question ?

I bought a boat and then done a boat licence course. So now I want to go to the dam and pull tubes and skiers ..... I am told I have to have a special license for this ??? A ski boat license .... is this true and where or who do I see for this ? I see boat courses advertised all the time but never a ski boat course ?
I live in QLD, so what ever their laws are.

don't have ski licences in Qld anymore, only need a boat licence, a recreational marine drivers licence (RMDL).

What you do need is to have skiers etc third party covered on your boat insurance.

If you dont and heaven forbid, something goes wrong and someone is hurt there goes your house etc.
