Hi Guys,
I wonder if any of you Zuk owners have had reason to replace missing paint from the motor leg? (sanded off by mistake on sand bar) if so, have any of you found a cheaper alternative to the dealers $18 /can ?:-[

So what's wrong with going to super cheap and picking up car touch up spray in black. If you wan't it to stay there paint a 2 pack clear over the touch up repair. I used a 2 part clear coat for timber flooring it hasn't come off and been on there for a few years now.

Yep sounds OK but the reason I asked was, that I figured this wheel has already been invented & someone may have come across a certain brand/black 'whatever'which is a very close match to what is already there (ie the bits I have'nt sanded off.

Frank I think BLA sell aftermarket touchup paint although it will probably be expensive to some degree (someone should blow the word "Marine" up), yamaha sells theirs for $33 a can up here!!!!

Thanks ! I thought $18 a can was a rip off.
BTW I am also in Cairns we will have to get together some time, we could probably be of some help to each other I'm a sparky.

Yeah cheers Frank, sometimes it's easier to just pay and be done with it, perhaps a convoy in the furure to gate-crash one of those M&Gs the members just below us organise at times. Class the joint up a bit :)
