Newchum dropped in yesterday and asked "are you interested in a fish tomorrow"
Well what is a bloke supposed to say, so a time was set for sunday morn
Headed out at 4.30, gets about halfway to the harbour and the first problems arises, blown heater hose, no water and an engine that wanted to not go.
Quick phone call and help is on the way, change tow vehicle and we are away.
Headed down to Liza Jane, 18 miles sth/sth east, staright into the wind and waves but still a good run.
Didn't do too good here only a small hussar for the esky.
Headed accross to divided island and some good shows on the sounder had us anchored up and fishing.
In they start coming, Grassy sweetlip 40 to the fork, stripey 23 - 30 fork length.
Headed up to try around pelican island but didn't do anygood so headed for home.
A great day was had by all and yes Mitchel outfished me again.
