Crabbing off Yeppoon

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone chases sand or spanner crabs off Yeppoon? Thought it might be worth setting a couple dillys while out chasing reefies, dunno, never chased em before. Anyone else do this? Any tips?

Used to be good numbers of Spanneries the eastern side of Barren but I think the pro's hit em so hard you cant get onto them much these days !!!

Yeah, they do tend to flog them when they find em. Anyone else go crabbing when they're out there? How about crays? Can you catch them without having to swim with the sharks?
