radio channals

i am going out mud island tomorrow and i dont know what channal is the best to be on as i am a new boaty.
please can someone please advise

27meg Channel 90, VHF 67 or 73, alot use 73

VHF 73 is the Coast Guard working channel for Moreton Bay.

Set your radio to dual watch though, with VHF 16 monitored constantly.

27 meg should be on 27.88 to provide a listening watch on that as well.

Yes, do a radio course.
