Fished out of Turkey Beach with Perko over the weekend. No reds for us Pup. Well done on your catch. We headed out early Saturday morning and spent a few hours trolling. Got 5 spaniards to 13kg in quick time. Headed out wider to chase some reefies and landed 8 nice trout and other assorted species but no reds. With a deteriorating weather report and a pretty full esky we decided against overnighting and got back in after dark.

Should have mentioned that the first mackeral was donated to the shark gods. The 2nd one was chased all over the place by the same bronzy. You have never seen a faster fish than a spaniard with 6-7 foot of shark up its backside. The fish and shark became airborne about 4 times. Some of the jumps would have been 6 foot out of the water. The final jump for the fish was almost straight into the boat. Both on board were majorly concerned the next thing to come was the shark. Was an amazing sight.

Boat is going good Pup. It is getting a bit of water in the left hull and I'm just trying to work out where its getting in. Am keeping it down here. It won't fit in the shed at 1770. Also like to have it down here to fish Sunny Coast and trips to Moreton Bay with the family. Thinking about bringing it up to Tannum at Easter if the weather is ok. Can you arrange that for me please.
