Trout Time @ Beverly Is

Dad and three friends left on Friday morning to the Beverly Is group. 40 mile SE of Sarina. Quick Trip out in 6m Fisher boat, unreal ride! Unreal boat! Pulled up at spot x and started pulling trout in. Ended up with 25 trout, 3 sweetlip a couple of cod, caught 3 Maori Wrasse. One wrasse went to approx 20kg, all carefully realeased back in to the water.

At night time, caught approx 10kg of pencil squid. Bit of variety.

Good trip in all, weather perfect. Back home Saturday 4:00. Fish for tea for all. Squid tonight for tea.

That's one fish I'm yet to catch,Maori Wrasse that is.

Sounds like a great trip!And lovely weather.
They sure are awesome fish those maori wrasse.
