Looks like we can't take a trick with the rain.:-/

Tracked tonight's storms on BOM and the main cell passed just west of Wivenhoe/Somerset dams.

At least the catchment areas got the wet stuff.

As always we got good rain around here at Tweed (usually bi-weekly stuff) - @ Casuarina. There is a reason our dam is at 100% most of the time.... i feel you poor buggers drinking the mighty dry wivenhoe.

Clarrie Hall gets around 1900mm average annual rain fall as at 2006. The down side, yes there is always pros and cons, is that the big bass head over the dam wall into the upper tweed everytime water is released from the dam. The dam is currently around 99%, with the only restiction that you can't cart water from the dam, nothing else. yes we are very fortunate, relative to the majority of the drought declared regions of Australia.

According to SEQ Water website there was 25mm at Somerset which meant it stayed at the same level as the previous day.
