Reaper.
Coffee Rock is a generic term used to describe the type of rock. There are patches of coffee rock inside and outside Moreton Bay.
There is coffee rock reefs running the entire eastern length of the Redcliffe Peninsular and long the eastern side of Moreton Island. There are patches that are exposed inside the bay as well.
Plenty of anchors have been lost in this type of country. i would recommend a reef pick.
Good luck.
