Your best berley ?

In the past I have generrally not tended to berley too much but would like to experiment with using different types.

What are some good types people like to use?

Any good homemade recpies that are guaranteed to get the fish buzzing.

I do mostly estuary fishing and have found that in the past I would buy a big tin of pilchards cat food and punture holes in the sides witha knife and dangle from the back of the boat

without a doubt the best burley is what you are using for bait, why would you burley with Pilchards and get the fish feeding then throw a squid bait at them, it is like matching the size lure to the bait fish that are being chased.

i use bait or old bait mashed works for me

I found the missus handy when goin' out. Bit of a swell, and she's over the side feedin'em. Genuine burley girl.
