Suffered from new deckie syndrome yesterday at Jacobs Well.

Got the new deckie to park the trailer after launching the boat. We had a great day on the water and on return I went to get the trailer and left the deckie to hold the boat.

No go from the battery as the headlights were left on. So I just sauntered back down to the ramp and announced the battery was flat to my 'boat holder'. I then got 2 offers of assistance from people loading boats.

After 2 minutes of jumper charging the motor started without a hitch and I could continue with the afternoon.

I must say a big thanks heaps to those 2 fishermen for their assistance as I think it took less than 10 minutes all up to be on our way.:D

Just feels great to tell a story without griping over somene else's actions.
No deckies were harmed in any way during these events.

A big 'right-on' to that remark, bluefin 59!
Same goes with bogged vehicles on the beach!
Cheers.

i am with the rest of the guys help when help is needed.
you never know when you need it.
have towed and been towed long distances and it seems its an unwriten rule that you don't ask for any reimbursement.

nothing worse than having no gogo juice on startup.
