A nothingness subject usuallyexcept in todays climate.
I live on the Nortern Suburbs (Petrie) abd we got about 10 ml of rain (still showering however).. How did everyone else fair because you don't have to be Einstein (i think thats how its spelt) to work out we need a s<.<.t load more!!!! rain that is !!!!;D
Was very dark but nothing substantial.
We need it for the water and fish: more so water!!!!

I was working at Ipswich today and it absolutely pissed down. Petrie isnt that far from Sommerset so it's not looking good :-[

The kids said there was small hail at school at Alex Hills.



I was laying shit pavers at Wello pt. The wettest I got was using the brick saw.

Just a follow up.
We ended up getting 55mm (about 2 inches) for the past few days (Petrie). Good and tank is full but nowhere near enough.

I was visiting a client at Forest Glen ( close to Mooloolaba) and it was bucketing down... The weather news said over 100mm. I believe that, I was in the middle of it!!

I checked the rain gauge here at Kallangur over the past 24hrs ad had a total of 78mm

i live at giru about 60 km south of townsville we got about 540 mm this month you can have some if ya wont lol

Well personally I think there is a fair amount of wet coming. There is a fairly strong frontal system coming through so let's hope it yields. This is the overall satellite image I use off the BOM.

Petrie is quite a distance from Somerset Dam.

It could be bucketing here (Strathpine) and the Kilcoy area be getting mothing.

Hello I live in the Glasshouse mtns and we recieved 174mm from last tuesday till thismorning,just wish it was falling in the catchment areas as well. Fingers crossed.

We're not doing too bad along the coast. My garden is keeping fairly green

The trouble is that we're not getting systems strong enough to push loots of rain over the coastal ranges to the Somerset / Wivenhoe catchment areas.
