hopefully this works, and sorry its in black and white, but i think its a trevally, it had red lip, and its mainly silver and has black lines coming from top to belly, i saw people catching them in castnets and taking shopping bags full of em, do they have a size limit?

Not sure, but it looks a lot like a trevor. Don't think there is a bag limit either.

I agree, looks like a trevally of some sort. I'm just curious though – why is the photo in greyscale? Were you trying to reduce the file size or were you taking B&W shots in the first place?

Definitely agree with the fellas that said trevally. There are many small trevally that don't usually get a mention in Fish ID books like the long finned trevally we catch in plague proportions off Darwin.

well im using -irfanview- an i needed to resize the image but it came up black and white, i did everything i could to get clolor, and my camera is not B&W, but i'll post it on another sire so it has color,.----------->http://www.ratemyfish.com/?action=ssp&pid=5286

Sand trevally.I have used them for live bait and the big ones seem to eat em.

here is no bag limit on them.
