My annual on my 98' Mercury 30hp was $274 all up & that was with a Water pump kit & that included my trailer getting lubed up, checked out & 7pin trailer plug fitted as well..

That was off Gold Coast Boat Worx in Miami on the Gold Coast..

Had a quote off a Mercury/Mariner dealer which was $137+parts & when asked how much it would be with the parts it came in well over $280 + if i needed a water pump kit it was a extra cost..

For mobile guy doing 1992 V6 Merc:
- $15 travel
- $255 labour (includes gearbox oil)
- $45 water pump impeller/plate kit
- $22 fuel filter (bowl type under back seat)
- $10 fuel filter (inline type under motor cowl)
- $48 plugs
For the hours I'm doing at the moment I only get the plugs, impeller and fuel filters replaced every second service (2 years) but I empty/clean out the main fuel filter bowl a couple of times a year myself. This guy also does other small fix-ups (like fuel line replacements) within his initial labour charge, I just pay for the parts. He takes about three hours and checks EVERYTHING, pretty happy with his service.
