Just joined as a member on ausfish thanks to my two brothers Gonna and Indy, We are all keen fishos and have been for many years since we were little tackers. Goona my oldest Brother basically introduce me a pete to the sport and we are always loving it. I recently went on a trip to Swaines Reef of Gladstone had a fat time caught most of the fish from the second to the fifth day after the full moon as always.
Some spots fished better then others one day I was at a patch of reef no bigger than a half a foot ball oval one side was shallow and the other from 3 metres deep to 40 metre deep caught some good quality lippers and trout but got done up by some monsters. caught a heap of trevally, trout, sweet lip, red emps, mackeral, and a mix bag of others. Weather was great but we were lucky. I have plenty more trips to show from home town Sunshine Coast will log in on a later date. The GT was 46 kg Tight lines.
