You can give me a ring if you like mate, been building for god knows how long. I have a few barra sticks here for you to look at if need be. All rods I build are made on custom designed blanks.

thanks for the interest fish_on...i specialise in barra and bass sticks but will build anything (currently doing a PE5 GT popping stick for a customer in brisbane) I prefer to stick with high end builds, catering for the discerning angler who is looking for something more from their rod...will post a few pics soon send me a PM if you want more info or get in touch with Trev (Awoonga) he's been nailing plenty of barra http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/showthread.php?t=104391
and bass on a few of his custom sticks also Cy Taylor has a custom 6'6" open water impoundment stick which he has been using to devastating effect on the horses at Faust..

Ian, I can vouch for wheezer here, Cy was very very pleased with his rod.

just about all my casting rods are built on Graphite USA blanks from Hastings...very efficient and incredibly durable for a high modulus graphite blank, just the ticket for long casting sessions with big lures for even bigger barra!
