Could anybody recommend a good Reef Charter out of Scarborough or Bribie , and where they usually fish. My son and I are keen to have a trip some time in the next few months. Is there a preferred time of year for Reef Charters. Thanks Coochin.;)

i can't reccomend any charter but i would say for you to ask a couple of local tackle shops and they may be able to steer you in the right direction. but i can say the best time of year would be in the winter months. the palaegics will have gone but the snapper will be around in better numbers than these warmer months. also look at a trip that heads up toward the barwons as i have had some ripper sessions there in the past couple of years. good luck mate

John Gooding gets my vote, we had a great time when we fished with him. No more than 4ppl at any one time, which is great

and more importantly...reel easy doesnt talk it up on the 2 way. unlike another operator from newport.
