Left the Mooloolaba ramp early morning and headed for the Blinker to troll Halco's and Pillies. Not a touch! :-[ So pulled all the lines and headed for Currimundi area. Again slipped the Halco's out the back, but the fish weren't interested. So out with the Skirts and Pillies, and slow trolled over some likely bait shows. Day ended well with five Spotties onboard. Sizes ranged from 3.8Kg down to 2.6... a great feed.;D

Nice mate ....very nice . You did the right thing . Hardbodz are good for covering ground but I have found slow trolled pillies outfish them for spots when there is not enough surface activity to toss slugs .

That's still a good feed mate....great effort. Should be a few spanos around atm to terrorise the bait schools.
Cheers

Looks like it was a fruitful trip but sounds like you had to work to get them, well done.
