Glorious morning to be on the water. Started the day chasing birds around the Bay. Lots of bird action but no bust-ups or hook ups. Headed out a few K to fish the reefs. Managed a handful of nice reefies - including a little coral trout. A first for me. Headed back in close mid-morning to chase surface fish again. Gee they are finicky with so much boat traffic around. I trolled hard bodies. Slow trolled gar on Aussi Jigs and cast metals at them. Nuthin. As soon as you got near a school they were gone. They looked like smallish blue fin. Ah well - school holidays finish soon so maybe next week they won't be so skittish.

Pic of one of the better fish

Didn't play the game today - but met up with a bloke at the ramp who got a couple yesterday. Fish were feeding on the surface a lot longer. Seems a day to day proposition.
