Just wondering if anyone out there knew of any hand operated davits suited to winching on a 3 m inflatable. And if so, has anyone used these ?
cheers

saurian & on-one,
found this one, but dont know how compact it would get. dont want anything looking too out of place if you know what i mean. i know webster had one made for his dusty rover boat in F&B but havent been able to track down the article. it was a great little unit he had. the electric ones are so expensive !

Fish guts , I think I'll try to combine the pully block and alloy arm.
Have to find a suitable alloy dinghy first.

saurian,
do you know if its possible if you could detach the davit after use and store it. or would it have to be bolted on ? the swing on that davit above seems to work incredibly well with that tinnie.

Fish Guts , I think the post section seperates 500/600 mm above the roofline of the boat in the picture. I guess you could make the point where it seperates lower to suit your needs.
