lake eacham

Hi all,

well i'v scored a trip up north to Lake Eacham well its for a wedding and id ge great to ge a barra or two so im thinking of a charter or a hire boat well im there for the weekend so both would be good if i have $$$$$.

the wedding is at Yungaburra, so i gueesss i need a spot near there. for the long weekend, any spots i should see, water falls or a better lake to go fishing(less crowded). budget accomodation thanks all

think tinaroo is the gun lake up there - dont know if theres much in Eacham or even if fishing is allowed there?!

It's a lake in the crater of an old volcano (like Lake Barine).

As far as I'm aware, it's never been stocked and the fish that are in there are small and fully protected.

Lake Eacham is a water filled volcanic crater no Barra in there, But Tinaroo is close by and if your at Yungaburra then you're already on tinaroo lake , Big Barra , well Ive seen them but yet to get one ,all I have ever got at tinaroo is a jack and a few tilapia.
