Padded Box Seat for Centre Console.

After standing all the way across from Raby Bay to Sandhills and back on Saturday, it's time to get a seat for the centre console.

After the typical Centre Console box seat, padded top, with or without swingback back support. Most C/C boats have similar seats.

Approximately 700 wide, 400 deep and around 750mm or so high to padded seat.

I'm also tinkering with the idea of a seat after few a long treks across Moreton Bay in a C/C. I've got a 130ltr Evacool esky and I am looking at getting a cushion made up to fit the lid. I have moved the esky to sit on when the legs get weary but it does shift around in chop and isn't quite high enough to see over the bow for my likening.

I'm looking at building a ply box to house and raise the height of the esky/seat and would probably put in a drawer underneath for storing crap as well. I was looking at puting in a fixed pedistal seat but it's space wasted. ;D

Agree mate, a pedestal seat is a waste of time.

I want a box seat for extra storage.Approximately 800 wide 400 deep and about 750 high to top of padding on lid.

Then i could store stuff under floor in bow in the box seat, line the area under the bow floor and turn it into a kill tank/ice box.
