Went to Maroon Dam today for a fish.
Water has come up couple of metres. The water has reached the end of the concrete ramp and is covering aleast 2-3 m of it in length, however there is alot of long weeds in the opening to the water. So launching of the bank is still the go.
Fishing was slow to start with, tried everything, soft plastics, spinnerbaits and trolled some lures as well. Water is dirty with alot of floating grass and the like.
In the end, used betts spinners with very small jighead. Fishing got better.
Should be good in a couple of weeks.
