eastern fish replace western fish in SEQ dams?

just wondering if species such as mangrove jack and jungle perch were able to be stocked in SEQ dams what people would feel about fazing out stocking of silver perch and golden perch to be replaced with species which naruraly occur in the area such as mangrove jack, jungle perch and other species.
