Up around crystal creek north of toensville you will probably get jungle perch when the water is flowing.

be careful with the jp's, they are a bugger to keep alive in tanks, I've tried a couple of times, they attack and kill anything and everything in a tank and are very very fussy eaters. Live baits are the only thing they will eat, even then, they are fussy.

I have a sooty in a tank at home, caught him when he was about 15cm long, he's now around 24cms long, took a long time for him to eat pellets, now he loves them. sooties also destroy anything in tanks like weed, other fish, as a result, my sooties tank is bare with only a few sticks for him to hide in.

feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

cheers
