made a bit with mywife on me catching a barra

i'm looking at fishing monduran fri/sat and i've made a bit with my wife that i would catch a barra, i can't say what the bet is but put it this way it's going to be a long lonly month.
i would love to know how the dam is fishing .
also any lures that you should think i should take.

need help so i can have a fun filled month

Always make sure you've got a RMG Scorpion by Halco with you when you go after barra. The gold with the red top is alwyas a good one but better to ask someone else about colors

One of the Ausfish crew, Randall, fished there yesterday. Boated a 70 odd cm barra & jumped off a meter+ girl.

Local guide Paul Dolan has been getting into them lately as well. A couple of good fish caught by him on the weekend.

Knowing the lure of choice for both these guys, I will hazzard a guess they would have been casting Lively Lures, Arafura Barras.
Some I'd advise to always have in the barra box are bombers, husky jerks, B52s & Lazer Pros.

Looks like Monduran is really coming of age this season. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
