What are the gun lures at Maroon

Anyone been fishing Maroon lately. Will be fishing the electric this weekend but as a father of three under four, pre-fish is not an option.

Was out there last weekend and got quiet a few legal bass casting different types of soft plastics into the weed around the edges of the dam and if you have some of those $30.00 Jackall lures they have been going off out there so they tell me but i never hade much luck with them except for a few undersize bass

I am praying for the day when Bass realise that those horribly expensive Jackalls (to a father of three...) have a very bitter and nasty taste to them and go back to delicious yet very affordable soft plastics or maybe a McGrath or two.

Hye Nogster,
Maroon has been a bit quiet lately. Beetle Spins are always worth a go near the weed beds. I favour a white shad with a gold blade. Rapala Shad Rap got me in the placings there last year. good luck.
