Awoonga trip

Hi all,

Am going up to Lake Awoonga between 3-6 Nov with a few mates and am looking at budget places to stay the night.

We are taking up our tents, so does anyone have any contact details on where we can set up a tent for the four days, with power so we can charge up our batteries.

Also, we have our normal impoundment fishing licence, so do we require to pay additional fees to put our boat onto the water?

The best place to camp is at the Caravan park which is on the lake, If you want a Power site its best to book I dont have their number on me, you do need you SIP and you also need to register at the rangers station. I dont think there is any cost for registration.

Went up to Awoonga earlier this month and you don't need a SIP and the Council Permit has been done away with. Cheers daryl

Yep what Dasher said is what the ranger told us.

Actually I think the Ranger was annoyed that we rang the buzzer to ask to register! ;D
