My mate got his new 3.85m Quintrex on Saturday fitted with the new 25 merc. It appears he got home late on Saturday, so decided to take her out to Cressbrook Dam on Sunday Morning to give it a whirl.

This dam from his place is approx. 60kms. As he approached the gateway to the dam he realized he did not have two bucks to get in.

He also has a swipe card to get thru the boom gate, but, guess what? it's at home.
Maybe he should have taken me!!! The reason being, is I don't forget my two bucks now after all this has happened to me once before.
It is a long 60k home I can say I know how he felt. :'( :'(

In my situation I swapped a lure worth $10 for the two bucks to get in, otherwise it's a long drive home :-/

not familiar with the area but backroads and 4wds can do many good things in a crisis, such is the drive of a desperate fisherman.
