Upper macleay Bass

Hi all
Im a new member to this chat forum an was wondering are there any clean upper Macleay Bass fisherman on here

I don't know how upper is upper but I have fished the macleay (up form smithtown) for bass for the last few years, with varied results. The last two years have been let downs compared to three years ago when 30 or more fish was an average session either on surface or deep.
Not too long ago I purchased a canoe and plan to do trips above the rapids this summer.

Nice Fish
I fish about 100km up river from smithtown 85km by road near Lower Creek
there are some good council camping grounds with facilities up here
and a canoe is a good way to get around I should be getting a canoe soon, there are some good deep holes where big bass lurk 1-4lbs not to many small ones as in other places
I use a diver through the day and a surface crawler at dusk
