Could anyone tell me where can I find live fresh water shrimps in brisbane? (eg. river or lake)

Or where could I buy some?

I would like to add some shrimps to my fish tank.

I think that must be interesting. :)

Thank You.

Anywhere with fresh water that doesn't dry out.

Not really sure in brisbane but I can give you tip to catching them, they love soap, any bar of soap in your trap will do, if they are there you will get them..

On the northside, try Lake Samsonvale and the Pine Rivers (North & South). Youngs Crossing offer easy access to the water.

Most bridges should give you access to areas of permanent water.

The fish in your tank will appreciate the shrimps ;D

I thought this "soap" for bait was a load of BS until I tried it.

Got the same good results as my traditional baits

Thank you all! :)

I will give a try on the lake then.

Thanks for the soap tip.
I been told once about the soap for the bait fish herrings.
But don't know that is also good for the shrimps. :P

Hope my fishs won't eat them if I do find some. Ha!
