Fish ID please

[Canoedle]

Dropped the yak in at fernvale about 7.30 yesterday morning (slept in again ::)) had quite a few strikes on the plastics and this little hard body lure, which is one of my favorite bass lures, got some stonkers on it up at north pine. Anyway, was trolling through a shallow rocky part of the river when I hooked this little fella. Can anyone tell me what species it is please? I was thinking maybe spangled perch?
