hi guys
caught my first dewfish at fernvale river Ipswich, Qld
Does any body else know some good spots where to catch them and what time and what baits
somewhere near brisbane.
PS can u catch them in the brisbane river

pretty much any decent body of fresh water will have them m8, definitely brisbane river or pine rivers, I have even seen them in the Kedron brook and enogera creek, not hard to find, and they love earth worms. find a decent hole, preferably gravelly bottom, put out a worm and wait.

I havent caught one in the river, only up in wivenhoe, but they are sure to be in there, as I said, they love the gravelly bottom to make their nests and late afternoon or early morning is most likely to be the best time.
