Fishing in Brewarrina BARWON river

hi all this will be my first freshwater fishing expedition
well im actually embarking on a hunting trip and we will be camping next to the 29 km of barwon river in the property we hunt on
does anybody know of the species of fish in the area , baits i could use and techniques

i have fished and hunted downstream from there most of my life.
mostly you catch are carp, yellas,silvers and cod in that order ;)
shrimp and yabbies are the best bait, garden worms are good but not the best bait.
a small shrimp trap is a must and place the trap near a tree in the river with some meat or fish gut.
when fishing i use a running sinker rig and cast near any log in deep water.
