fishing Brisbane River

hi all need your help new to Brisbane from up north need to shake the Brisbane Traffic blues, Live near brisbane River Jindalee Area. Is there any areas to fish of the banks and what do i need.

There's not much fresh water in the river at Jindalee, unless the river's in flood (we wish!!). You might be better posting this in the Saltwater Chat area.
