Hi guys
I just moved to canberra this year, looking to find some good fishing spots around the region, anyone got any pointers or a free spot when they go fishing next.

Mate the Goodradigbee River at Brindabella is excellent for fly fishing for trout if you are into that. There are several dams in the area that hold good populations of everything that swims. If trout are your thing then you are in paradise as the snowys are close enough for a day trip and the rivers there are all full of fish. I have spent extensive amounts of time fishing most of the rivers in the Canberra area and you have got a lot on your door step. The Murrumbidge has excellent Cod fishing on lures if you have a canoe or know people. Any of the tackle stores in the area will be able to help you out.
