Anyone do any good at Mcgavins view after it has rained....been there 3 times now to a spot which usually produces nice bass....after it rains though dont get any touches..?

Not sure about MacGavins View ( though I have caught fish there), but I went to the dam on Sunday morning after that rain Sat night, and caught 10 bass. So I am not sure that rain has anything to do with whether they are on the chew at all, in fact a heap of species bite strongly after some rain. :)

Where do u fish at the dam? 10 bass thats nice what were u using? jackals?

Fished between Bullockys Rest and Forgan Cove. Walking the banks casting as I go. Spinnerbaits, and Jackalls when I found deeper water.The occasional SP as well.
Not much of that around those areas though. Jackalls keep coming back in with weed over the trebles.

Just wondering what colour jackall's and spinnerbait's you use. I've used a couple of different colours recently and have had no luck! Also wondering what technique you use. 10 Bass in a session sounds awesome.
