Caught a hairtail last night.....97cm
I have taken the head off and cleaned it. Cut it into 2 slabs and now hoping someone can tell me how best to prepare this fish
Thanks

Only tried a few, then just cut them up into short lengths, floured & added salt, pepper & lemon juice. Fairly strong flavoured, but nice.

Excellent stuff
Cut 2 slabs and punctured the slabs with a fork. Marinated the fish in soy and ginger and puit on the BBQ. Basted during cooking albeit not for very long. Squeezed some lime juice over the fish and YUMBO!!!!!
I was very impressed. Whilst there are a few bones...........none too many to not eat.
Now i want to catch another over the 1 metre mark. I will do it again on the BBQ. As I said I was impressed. Thanks for giving me confidence to even try the ugly bugger
Cheers

If you get a big one, watch out, they can be really mean, my best was just short of 6 ft & it coiled like a snake & attacked the same.
I'd hate to get bitten by one.
