Anyone use the mad mullet lures from lively? How do you rate them?

Luke,
A tackle shop has given us a few to take away north next week - let you know how they go.

G'day Luke

Have not used them personally and yet have seen plenty of anglers select them in their top three lures on other boards for a range of SW species.

What are you planning to target fish wise?

Gday Steve,
I've seen them on the Ausfish lure list.Trekking north next year and trying to build up a bit of a collection.Probably barra, jacks for target.

G'day Luke

Just had a look at the MM colour range and several of them will get you onto Barra, Jacks, Salmon and others up north either sight casting around snags or trolling.

Hi Luke,
I got a green mad mullet and it is a scorcher. The main species I have caught on it is fingermark. They seem to love it. Have caught a few small barra on it as well.

They work, but I dont use them, personal preference more than any thing. No real science behind me not using them I just dont like the look so I wouldnt fish the lure with enough faith to get it to work.

The micro mullets however workin cold times trolled real close to cover and their skinns jigged off, fresh water that is like a billabong.

The lure works, its just me who doesnt work it correct cause I dont like them (clear as mud?)
