fishing rods

Hi,

I'm new to the chat.
Hope I'm on the right track.
I'm looking for a fishing rod and reel that can be used for fresh and salt water fishing (good brand). It's about 8 foot long.
My husband saw it on a tv program. Didn't take notice of any further details.

I use a live fibre outfit for that same setup . it doesn't come down to which brand but what the budget can afford . the fish don't that well , I also have a overhead rod I use for fresh water

Do you know what show it was on like ET, Rex etc or was it an add?

If the show was Rex Hunt, then go to Kmart, they stock the rods shown on his show.
If you relly want to impress hubby, a Live Fibre would do the trick. ;)
