Silstar EVO Graph Powertip Rod

Hiya

By misfortune today I happened to snap the tip off a brand new 5'6" Silstar EVO Graph PowerTip rod in the shop, obviously I then had to pay for it. Anyway now I have a 5' long rod that appears to be a fantastic piece of equipment. What I want to find out is what sort of experience anyone has had with this rod? I feel that if I was able to snap the tip off it bending it in the shop then I am going to have to treat it as glass should it shatter!!

BTW, Silstars website tells nothing of this stick...

Any thoughts??

what happened ben ? didn't you see the ceiling fan ;D how much did ya bust off? might make a good trolling rig

Nah, apparently you don't hold the butt and tip of a rod and bend them......

Only took 6" off the top, so figure it is going to be good for flicking lures out of a canoe or yeah, trolling behind a tinny.

get ya mate to hang on to the tip and you use one hand behind the winch and use your wrist to test it (so i've been told by the big guru)
