i'm checking out a rod advertised as a wilson live fibre.
it's nice looking rod and plan to mate it with my missus's
penn 8500 spin reel.
next to the wilson logo hand written in gold paint
is "graph 7ft spin" no codes as such, shop label is missing.
anyone familiar with that rod?
and is $135 a fair price? (supposedly reduced from $209).

thanks for any ideas,
aido.

Since you're putting an 8500 on it I'm guessing you are after substantial sized fish with it. If this is the case, check that it isn't just a 7ft estuary type rod. You will be after a multitaper rod and I think the code is something like ZWS70XJ for the blank. Check the reel seat as well, if it looks a bit light on then leave it. You could also try ringing Wilson themselves and enquire there and get the info from the horses mouth.

You're right Tony, was looking at the wrong rod, it should be ZWS70LJ or close.
