This is a snap of a very proud four year old, Matthew Phanos with his first fish, a Venus Bay (S. Aust.) Snook. We were at anchor catching some pesky rock fish when I thought that this would be a great opportunity for Matt to hook his first fish. I held the rod for him (he's only four) and he got this massive bite, little Matthew reeled like there was no tomorrow and to my surprise hauled in this one kilo specimen.
